So I go to a very nerdy high school. My friends and I in this very nerdy high school want to bring lightsabers to prom. There is a small collection of individuals who wish to stop us. These individuals strive for a classic, typical prom and suffer from delusions involving the concept of our school being normal. 

To those individuals who wish to stop us from brining lightsabers to our prom:

You cannot and will not tell us what to do. If we want to bring lightsabers and mind our own nerdy business i fail to see how it has anything to do with you. Frankly it is the same principle as gay marriage- if you are straight your opinion is not valid. 

Yes, we know peoples reaction will probably commence as such:

We are not going to force you to participate or go hit you with our lightsabers, or be obtrusive in any other way. So y’all can shutthefuckup right now because you cannot justify being upset over something that does not affect you.

Telling others what to do and impeding on the wishes of the majority for your own selfish gain… 

They call us children… they say we’re immature… they say “The theme is ‘Starry Night’ not ‘Star-Wars’”
